Project No. 296 · Chișinău, Râșcani · April 2018
A kids' room: a 90 × 190 bed with a fold-down desk and full-wall wardrobes
A single bed for a 90 × 190 mattress with a fold-down desk on a metal leg by day. Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with drawers beside it, a top cabinet above the bed and lit shelves inside the niche.
About the project
The bed for a 90 × 190 cm mattress folds up into the cabinet, and by day a fold-down desk on a metal leg takes its place. Open, it shows a quilted soft headboard with LED-lit shelves and a socket above it.
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes run along the wall, with shelves inside and wide drawers at the bottom. Above the bed is a top cabinet with a lift-up door and lighting.
The fronts are beige linen-texture Egger F425, with fabric loops instead of handles. Egger W908 and U156 were also used.
